Life of regrets Mistakes made bad decisions People can't see it Life of pain living in anger full of hate Can't let people see it living lies hiding the truth little to be proud of People can never know living in despair buried in sorrow darkness everywhere Just hide it behind a smile Love was a lie hiding behind the idea emptiness is all there was Just keep lying they will never know hurt those close abandon those closer justify it with lies. Can't pretend any longer Somebody removes the mask everything is exposed reality sets in No where to run Not alone in this life everyone has a past everyone has a mask No where to hide Let the world see now set it free darkness not so dark Can now see it all Love no longer a lie pain is not the enemy life needs both mind and heart are set free learned from the past No more despair. life gets better Looking in the mirror A new man is born the past remains a new future is being written The mask is thrown away everyone is watching many are judging some are loving Can't look back now Prove the past wrong learn from it a new man is born I am the man behind the mask.
