Being politically correct has reached such levels now that people can't risk hearing a different opinion, idea or belief regardless of subject. College, once the place of expansion of ideas and open discussion has now become a place of such contention for those very things that they now have to post trigger warnings , offer safe spaces, counseling or out right banning of the speakers they disagree with. Sadly often with violence now. This while blunt and sure to offend those now so easily offended is my answer to this. The real world grows and real change only happens when we can openly discuss differences, without that we stagnate as a society and quite possibly take a fast track backwards.
